I began writing in 2001 or 2002 with “Hiking the Endless Mountains” and have since written a total of six books with five titles (one book is a second edition). I don’t write for the money, but rather to get people outside and explore the incredible beauty that often lies in their backyards. I am motivated to explore and write about locations that are underrated or overlooked. All too often we think “other places” are better, more scenic, and more worthy of our time. I hope my books have proven those beliefs to be completely false.
